Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Craig This is an iconic photo! And absolutely the first giant sea turtle pix I have ever seen showing him in both his mediums -- land and sea. Everyone just shows these creatures totally in the water or totally on land -- but to capture him just as he was emerging is fantastic. The best sea turtle pix I have ever seen!! Congratulations!

Craig Wood replied:

Wow! "The best sea turtle pix I have ever seen!!" Thank you so much Ken. Made my day.

What a beautiful creature! Nice timing for the photo too, just when it comes out of the water.

Craig Wood replied:

Thanks for your comments Tim.

Artist's Description

We have a small cove that is the home of about seven sea turtles a couple of miles from my home. I stop by there every now and then to see what I can capture. This day it was the oldest sea turtle that I've ever seen. Covered with green sea slime and barnacles and being the largest turtle on the beach it was obvious that he was the senior member of the four other turtles on the beach sunning themselves. Photograph is the copyright property of Craig Wood and cannot be copied or used without permission. FAA watermark will not appear on prints purchased.

About Craig Wood

Craig Wood

My first camera was a Kodak Brownie that I purchased with a $5.00 bill that I found at the age of 12 (69 years ago, so no digital then). My first black and white photos were of the Steinhardt Museum in San Francisco and later the Kon Tiki, Thor Heyerdahl's sailing raft. Needless to say I was hooked. I joined the Air Force in 1960 and traveled throughout Asia. Even after retiring from the Air Force I was still in and out of Asia and Hawaii. My usual choice of 35 mm cameras was by Canon. I've done some 4 X 5 macro photography for a friend's magazine and shot lots of weddings, B Day parties, friend's kids / animals and many other joyous occasions. I'm now retired after working for the government for 42 years so spend a lot of time shooting...
