Description
Found on a steep hill side that I climb to get above the ancient telephone poles. Hawaiian kahili were a symbol carried by the warriors to indicate the person that they accompanied was royalty. They were made from the feathers of native birds (many that no longer exist) . Feathers were plucked from the bird in such a way that they didn't harm the bird. Craig, love the spire of red flamed beauty! What a fine piece of artwork for me to proudly display on our Featured Artwork section of our Homepage, within our family of friends and fine artists, in our Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery group. It is truly an honor to showcase your talents and beautiful artworks within our site, as our members get more promotion than in most groups, as I change out our Featured Artworks section 20 to 30 images at a time, and almost on a daily basis. I also change out our Top FEATURED artists weekly. I am proud to display this fine piece of beauty you have created for us to enjoy and share with others. LIKED Forever, Elvis
