The sunset was muffled by the vog from the Big Island's volcanic activity. That added to the capture of this beautiful scene of man, ocean and natures creatures. The turtles have been coming to this spot for many, many years. The people that live near by protect them from those that would harm them. All rights apply. FAA watermark will not appear on any photographs purchased.
My first camera was a Kodak Brownie that I purchased with a $5.00 bill that I found at the age of 12 (69 years ago, so no digital then). My first black and white photos were of the Steinhardt Museum in San Francisco and later the Kon Tiki, Thor Heyerdahl's sailing raft. Needless to say I was hooked. I joined the Air Force in 1960 and traveled throughout Asia. Even after retiring from the Air Force I was still in and out of Asia and Hawaii. My usual choice of 35 mm cameras was by Canon. I've done some 4 X 5 macro photography for a friend's magazine and shot lots of weddings, B Day parties, friend's kids / animals and many other joyous occasions. I'm now retired after working for the government for 42 years so spend a lot of time shooting...
