Description
The mask was carved by my Sister In Law's father Roger Haferkamp. He was a passionate carver that made totem poles, masks and many small animals. He would do extensive research whenever he set out to do a piece that he wanted to be as authentic and honest to the art of the Northwest Indians. I was so taken by the artistry and patience that it must have taken to create this beautiful mask. I wanted to photograph it in a setting that complimented the natural beauty of it and would honor the man that made it. Roger passed away some years ago but his art remains to remind us of who and what he was. Photograph is the copyright property of Craig Wood and cannot be copied or used without permission. FAA watermark will not appear on prints purchased.
